... 'Rookies' had 1 of the best souvenir packs
& a nice (& separate) gift shop ...
... moving on to 'The Noon' ...
... which was small, but I liked it ...
... & I remembered to take menu pic ..
... plus I met fellow judges Bill & Red
from Portland, Oregon ...
... and then there was 'Mellow Yellow' ...
... which has been around since 1972 ...
... and then there was the
3 story'"Bushdoctor' ...
... which had no toilets (that I could find),
BUT had their "Swhite" entry
(which made me not worry about it) ...
... & they had a couple Party Reptiles
hangin' out to chat with ...
... and then on to 'The Bluebird' ...
... with unique appearance ...
... interior & music ...
... and pretty good apple pie & service ...
... and I met Jason from New York, NY hanging
at the 'Bluebird' (is Jason blurry or was I?) ...
... and the 'Sensi Museum Coffeeshop' ...

... but is most remembered by the "NO COST" judging samples (the way it should be) ...
... and then "Rusland" was unique ...
... with a spacious shop ...
... and best-dressed customers ...
... & a menu sample (I remembered something) ...
... with happy staff (half of the staff anyway) ...
... and customer Tony from Scotland ...
... and then the super loose-ur-memory ...
... 'Green House' with super buzz weed ...
... and customers Marcus, Richard, & Bruno sharing a father & sons moment ...
... and then to 'De Dampkring' with
a full-service bar ...
... & celebrity-status hangout ...
... and an real extensive menu ...
... and then 'De Tweede Kamer' (neighbor
to Hoppe, the oldest bar in Amsterdam) ...
... just 6 steps away from Hoppe...
... complete with friendly service,
good selection ...
... and customers Franz, Daniel, & Robert ...
... and then there is the "Grey Area"
(which I visited in 2004) ...
... a real comfortable (but small) place to
hang (Fan Club site: www.GreyArea.nl) ...
... good name for this place
(their entries were good) ...
... and I think I met Al of N. Virginia, VA
there (where did I meet u Al?) ...
... Al was a master bike thief of Amsterdam ...
... and he's good at it too ...
... and now we get to places I never made it to ...
... even though I gave it my best ...
... but 28 coffeeshops in 5 days ...
... plus the Expo
(which was way down the river) ...
... created quite a challenge ...
... I visited this place in March of 2004 ...
... but I'm sure a few made it all the way ...
... and it would have been easier if the ...
... 'Canna Bus' actually had a scehdule (or I even saw it) ...
... but it was a great adventure for sure ...
... but I did hit over 50% of the list ...
... including the great "Barney's"
(which I failed to get a stamp also) ...
... and another miss for "Run-A-Way Bill" ...
... I did not miss #28, there was no #28
(in the manual anyway)"
